Alamo Arabian Horse Association Meeting Minutes

At 7:05pm, Rose Marie Eash called the meeting to order at Chester’s. New member Kirk Thomas was introduced, along with Terry Carter of S.A.S.H.A.

Mark William gave the membership report, with 105 adult members and 24 youth members, as of today.

Bill Eash gave the update on the club’s finances.

Sherri Youngblood reported that the Youth Club caroling was a huge successs and that they have been asked for a repeat performance next year.

Bill Eash spoke about changes with USEF and USDF for open Dressage shows. He spoke about the upcoming Sporthorse division at the Fiesta show and the need for Farm sponsorship. The help is in place and we will be adding Hunter Hack to the class list.

Three delegates were needed and elected for Convention in November. Bill Eash, Margo Shallcross and Elizabeth Williams were selected. Christie Brehm is the alternate.

Old Business: The need to update the A.A.H.A. website was discussed.

Margo Shallcross will run for Region 9 Director next year and she will also attend the U.S.E .F. Convention on January 13^th of this year.

Jeannene Pegg was asked if she needed any help at the San Antonio Rodeo. Everyone was reminded that Horsefest/Party Palooza was coming up as well.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:30.
